Don’t forget your bathers! Munich is well known for its beautiful lakes, which lie on the outskirts of the city, e. g. the Feringasee is only a 15min. journey (with a bicycle) from the city, thereto Munich also has a range of public swimming pools as well as the Isar, which flows through the heart of the city.

It is advisable to bring adequate clothing (not necessarily black-tie) for visits to concerts or the theatre.
